![]() | Re: We finally took the plunge! Gill, My original CCR was a classic so the VR3 was necessary. I had planed selling the VR3 when I moved to the Evolution, but during my Evolution and normoxic training I was reminded of the importance of redundancy. The folks I dive with dive with both. The vision software is a work in progress with frequent updates. Have you ever experienced a computer crash? Since I already owned the VR3 it made sense to keep it. I admit that if I was starting from scrath and purchasing $22,000 worth of rebreathers and training I'd seize up at the thought of purchasing a VR3. Your position is correct and I stand corrected. Safe diving, J.R. |

"Good to know that there is another crazy family with two Evolutions in our neighborhood." hey Yevgeniy, so you are in the hood are you? seattle? hmm, drop me a line if you'd like to talk shop and/or show us your rig, we'd love to connect with any local evo divers who might help us bide the time while we wait it out and our potential pool of dive buddies is definitely about to narrow, so who knows maybe we could do some bubbless diving once we are trained... assuming we're not too crazy a family for you.
