Dave shaw used HH handsets filled with oil and due to a leak before the dive he still had a problem. About the 180m buzzer problem, if I can recall good about a year or so 3 Germans tried to go past the 180m mark and all 3 units failed at 220m if I am not mistaken! They were even warned by ADP about this! Maybe Mario can say something about this as he was doing a modification!Or had he modified it? (filling it with gel or something).
