![]() | Hi from Bali Hi everyone, Have been a bit of a lurker recently trying to decide wether I want to take the step up to a CCR. Have wanted one for the last 10 years or so, filming Sunfish off the coast of Bali at 40-50m on air gets to be a frustrating experience at times, the cash reserves are finally there and I'm leaning towards a KISS Sport at the moment. Will now have to look into were I go for training and getting the KISS, If anyone has some tips or suggestions please fire away. Best Fishes Chris |

Best Fishes Chris Try Jim Holt at Konaquatica in Hawaii, he dives a KISS sport, as well as a few other CCR & has a great set up as well as very personal & professional service. Dove with him last december & had a great time. BTW what camera & housing is that in the photo ? |

Thailand is probably the nearest place to you that has a variety of CCR instructors. And if you are intersted in manual CCRs, don't forget to check out the Pelagian and Copis Meg. Myself and 3 other CCR divers will be in Bali this month, 26-30, staying in Sanur. There will be 2 Copis Megs, an Evolution and a Prism. You're welcomed to stop by some evening if you want to have a look and chat. -Andy |

![]() | Re: Hi from Bali Hi guys, Thanks for the welcome. Rob, The camera is a Sony F900 ( I think ) $$ and a homemade housing from Peter Scoones, legendary uw filmer. He was kind enough to allow me to use it in turns with him when he was out filming on Bali a few years ago for the BBC Planet earth series. Every other camera and housing I have used since pales into insignificance compared to that setup. Will definetly get in contact with Jim in hawaii, cheers for info. Andy, I will definetly take you up on the offer of meeting you guys when your here, great chance to see so many different kinds of rebreathers in the flesh. Not sure how to do the private Email here, so please drop me a line when you can and look forward to meeting you here in Bali. Where are you diving by the way, Tulamben ? Penida ? Cheers Chris |

Cheers Chris I know we're diving Penida and some other places near Sanur, can't remember all the details as my Indonesian friend made the arrangements for this part, while I worked more on getting us to Alor for the next 10 days after Bali. PM sent with my email contact, -Andy |
