Re: Hello from LI New York

boat gypsy, thats cool, i sold my soul to tie knots underwater<see my sig>

anyways the way i went about deciding what unit was first read everything and figure out what all the letters meant( well most of them.....) then i made a list of pros and cons and i picked one.

in retrospect i probably should have tried units to get a feel for them, more and more places are having try it out days with different units. i was kinda fearful of the whole timeshare thing where they sellsellsell you. now i see you cant avoid the selling anyway.

anywasy next question, otscl or bmcl.?? ....

That I'm not sure of. Most of the ones that were on display at the show were otscl.

Re: Hello from LI New York

well otscl supposedy has better wob- but people say wob- work of breathing- is subjective so who can really tell. myself i have destroyed most every piece of dive gear/bc i ever owned so having my lungs out in front seems like a no-n0 so i went bmcl. the revo breathes fine, imho, but then i did buy it so who knows what my subconscious is doing. most of of the eccr bmcl rigs are big cash, mk15,borris,sentinel.

joe radomski is a cool guy, you might want to get to that tryout day in yonkers. worth meeting him if you have questions.
