Welcome to Rebreather World!
Sure glad to have you onboard here on Rebreather World. I don't even know if you are our first member from Iceland.
I have read various articles about diving in Iceland and it sure must be very cool. Probably most famous is the dive between the continental shelfs where the water is super clear.

I am sure that you guys have, among the very many hot springs, a lot of very beautiful women!

Iceland is the maddest place I've been, didn't get to do any diving though, managed to fall through a frozen river in a jeep and lost my camera up a mountain because my fingers frooze, not to mention breaking the bank to buy a round of beer and visiting the thermal baths and getting ice forming in your hair while your body is in 40degrees!

Is there much of a diving scene, are there charter boats and air shops or is it all private individuals doing their own thing? Looking at the coast line when I was there I figured there was scenic and cave dives, what about wrecks?

If anyones thinking of going I can reccomend New Year, these guys know how to party and their firework safety is non-existent

There's got to be some Viking wrecks around, since the Icelanders are direct descendants from them.... diving a Viking wreck-- that would be cool.
