![]() ![]() | Hello for the first time Just wanted to say hi. I am currently an OC advanced PADI diver and was looking to get into OC Tech diving. I was almost ready to do my first two courses, adv nitrox and deco procedures. Then I read a thread that the Tech training would not transfer over to CCR training in the future. Since diving technical with a CCR was the ultimate goal, I am now finding my self ready to purchase a CCR. I so happy that I ran across this site. In the long run that one thread saved me tens of thousands of dollars in doubles, manifolds, training, etc. ![]() I have narrowed it down to purchasing either the Inspiration Vision or the Evolution. My thought process is toward the Inspiration due to the longer saturation time that will benefit me later when I start the technical training with the rebreather. Is this solid thinking, or is it an advantage to have a lighter weight rig with Trimix/Helox gas. It is a mute point now, however once I have 100 hours or so on the rebreather I do not want to have to buy a different one to do the technical courses. Thats enough about me, glad to be here! |
