Hello from South Spain.

Hello everybody there,

Despite I am diving OC since 1979, I am an absolute beginner in Rebreather´s world.

I am now in the process of selecting a Rebreather and getting properly trained, so it is a real help to me to read on this forum. My diving area is usually Southern Spain, from Cadiz to Gibraltar, and usually we dive on open ocean, no caves, with about 120 dives per year plus 20/25 dives more in a live aboard cruise on places like Red Sea, Maldives etc.

Unfortunately, on this area RBs are not very popular still.

The few people that use them, and the available instructors here own Inspiration/Evolution.
So chances are that I will become a member of the yellow brotherhood soon.

Well, anyway, thank you for being there!!

Hi andrespp, Welcome to Rebreatherworld.com! Glad to read that you play with the idea of venturing over to "the dark side of diving" ;-))))) There are a few Spanish Rebreather divers here on board, I am sure it is well worthed to get in touch with them. Again, welcome on board! Always safe diving. RBN

Re: Hello from South Spain.

well, I think it is the proper time to announce it:

I am the proud diver of the #332 Classic Kiss.

I made the training with Jordi Mateo in Barcelona (BTW, what a fantastic trainer), and just received my unit & VR3.

Should you be around my diving area, do not hesitate to contact me for a good dive!!! ´

Best regards!!

Adrian
