Diving in Lanzarote

Hi

Does anybody know a good place in lanzarote that does rebreather diving.
Am going on holiday but not bringing my own unit (evolution) and want to know if i can rent a unit.

hi sean, my mate mick franklin of THE DIVE SHOP has sold the school to simon butler, simon has inspirations, evolutions & megaldon rebreather, has lime, bail-out and everything you need. they are based in purto del carmen, in martagorda. the diving there is brilliant, unfortunately i was on oc when i was there twice last year

In october i visited Puerto del Carmen. My friends heve been going there for years and the diving is very nice. I am not diving a rebreather yet but i lookt at a place where i can do an intro dive but did not find one. I rented my tank and lead with Safary Diving. Nice people and good diving (Take a look at Felix he is a nic grouper!!??!!). In 2006 i saw a guy diving an inspiration from they boat so i think it is possibe. My friends did some deep air diving below the shrimp cave, there is a nice black coral field. I think i would be very nice with a rebreather. Could do your deco on the the first two rocks infront of the bay (+- 15 to 6 meters) an ongoing on the sand. Well save dinving and give Felix a kiss

Hi,
I was there diving my inspiration last april.
Puerto del Carmen is absolutely fantastic. You get ready in the harbor, then you walk 20 mtrs, go down throught the stairs, hit the water, go -6 mtrs down, start diving, go down, down, down down..... and then... up, up, up and lay in the sand in -6 mtrs, make the last deco, go to your car, leave everything there, go to the bar and take your beer. JUST FANTASTIC.

I went to -83 mtrs and the wall goes deeper....

I went with Marina Rubicon Dive Centre in Playa Blanca. The name of the owner is Cris M. He is here (Rebreather World).

I was looking at diving in Lanzarote with my unit but I decided against it as it was a holiday and I wanted lazy diving.

Speak to Simon at Rubicon diving lanzarote dive shop lanzarote he is very helpful, knows the area and also has a unit you can hire.

It was a shame I didn't get to dive with him.

looking forward to seeing you when you get here, rich is looking forward to seeing you again too, doing a mod two at the moment but back to mod one when you get here so im sure we can sort out some diving
