![]() | New Member Hello Everyone, Just a quick introduction. Some of you already know my husband, Monkey. I was beginning to get jealous of all the time he spends on this site, so I figured "if you can't beat 'em.....join 'em". I have every intention of becoming a CCR diver, but for today, I am OC. Please don't hold it against me..........I am still deciding on the right unit. I am interested in hearing feedback from any of the women CCR divers. Your experiences and opinions would be helpful in my research. Although Monkey did exhaustive research and absolutely loves his Meg, it was all done for his benefit. What works for someone 6'2", may not be the best fit for a 5'4" woman. I look forward to learning from you. Mrs.Monkey |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: New Member Hi there Mrs. Monkey, it's nice to meet Monkey's better half. I met / dove with him for the first time on Saturday up in Jupiter. As one option, you may want to consider talking with Lisa at Fill Express in Pompano. She's works at Fill Express and is Mark's (The local Optima Guru) sister and has fast become a very experienced rebreather diver. I dove with her a few times while I was recently completing my Optima training. She probably has a similar profile, and in fact may be a bit shorter than 5'4" (sorry Lisa if I'm off on the height). As you would expect, she also dives with a Dive Rite Optima. At the very least, she may be able to provide you with some valuable insight into some of the factors to consider. She has a website where she posts some of her underwater videos of local wrecks. The site also contains some information about her diving experience and has a link that will allow you to contact her via email. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you out there with us soon! Adrian
