Question Choices

Looking to purchase a rebreather and have it narrowed down to two (2) choices. The KISS and the Optima. I now quite a bite about both , but just wanted to bounce to ideas off everybody and see what opinions i get back on the pro/cons of units and general preferences.

Thanks all.

Welcome to Rebreather World

That is a very broad statement/question. What are the reasons for narrowing it down to those 2 units, and what information are you looking for that would help you in making a final decision?

Re: Choices

Hi Colt:

Welcome to Rebreather World. I am a total nob when it comes to CCR, so can't be of much help to you with this final decision thing. However, I am curious how you arrived at the final two... When I was making choices, it helped to look at the types of diving I intended to do on the unit and the conditions in which those dives were going to be made. Perhaps a little of that sort of BG info would help others help you

Re: Choices

Colt,

You need to decide if you want to go MCCR or ECCR answer that question and you have made your choice. I would go the MCCR route for a first rebreather but that's just my opinion. Both unit are very good I have even fitted a Hammerhead to my Classic Kiss.
