![]() | Hi there Hi, As a new member of this forum and a beginner in rebreather diving I would like to say hello to everyone. I visited this forum quite a bit before deciding one which unit to take the course on and I am looking forward learn and later on share information with you. I recently received my shiny new Inspiration Classic and after taking it apart and putting it back together again I did my first dive on it. It performed flawlessly at first, all three cells where within range, checked with the diluent setpoint and would indicate PO2 above 1,6, yet at the end of the dive I noticed that the indicated setpoint had drifted a little. I flushed the unit with O2 at 5m and expected to see a setpoint of 1,5 instead the displays showed 1,42. Still the three cells where within close range. Does anyone now how this can happen? I suspected the temperature to be the cause, as I calibrated the unit at around 25°C , yet the temperature in the lid may have been higher from the transport to the divesite in bright sunlight. The water temperature was around 8°C. Can this difference cause the cells to drift, to indicate lower than the actual PO2? Thanks for you help |
