It was with hard feeling that I heard that you was gone from us, I will miss speaking to you, you was always listening. Thank you for everything we could learn from you when you were around us. You will be long time missed. Vegard. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Rebreather caverdiver dies in Plura cave system When I heard from Vegard that we had lost Ståle, I was stunned as I was when I heard Penny was taken from us. Like many others, I knew Ståle through his popular dive business, and I had hoped to take my OC-->CCR trimix cross over course with him next year. I find it so hard to look my wife and children in the eye when I know divers with so much more experience and knowledge than me are lost in these ways. It's just so hard to understand. My thoughts and prayers are with Ståles young family & his friends. Norway's technical diving community will miss you Ståle. ![]()

![]() | Re: In Memory of Ståle Tveitane Tomek called me today to tell me about the terrible news. I met Ståle while in Centralia this March, and I have to say that, while I only spent a few days with him, he struck me as a very friendly man with the kind of calm intelect that is all too rare in this sport. Rest in peace Ståle. I'm glad I had the chance to meet you. Cliff |

![]() | Re: In Memory of Ståle Tveitane I still can not believe the fact that Ståle is not with us anymore... We are not that many Meg divers here in Norway. We first met him last week, but felt we already knew him well through telephone conversations and e-mails the last 2 years. We visited him last week and stayed for coffee a couple of hours and talked about everything. Off course some about the diving in Plura which he was leaving for the next morning... The last 2 days has been like in a vacuum, and I can't imagine how it is for the people closer to him. All my thoughts to them. RIP! Anne Tomine Jorde Oslo Norway |
