In fact, we shared a boat from Edd's to make a dive in Jackson Blue, the accident site, back in May. I admired his motivation to make the frequent drives from Texas to Cave Country. He was very solid in the water. In the little time that I got to know him, I could tell that he knew his stuff. You are in my thoughts, Richard. |

| Re: Packetsniffer RIP From Dan Weyant... There will be a short memorial service in honor of Richard Mork on Saturday, January 17th, at Jackson Blue at 2:00 pm. Anyone that would like to say a few words in honor of Richard is invited to speak. At the conclusion of the service, we will be placing a small memorial plaque in Richard's honor in Jackson Blue. If possible, I would like to video tape the placement for his parents. If anyone would be able/willing to do that, I would greatly appreciate it. Anyone that would like to attend to help us honor Richard's memory is welcome. You can e-mail me if you have any questions dan@weyant.net In Memory of Richard Mork 1969 - 2008 |

| Re: Packetsniffer RIP Yesterday was a very sad day for me as I just learned of the death of one of my best friends, Rich Mork. I worked with Rich at DNV in Houston in the early 1990's and traveled together on many work related projects, golfed, and skiied together off and on during the years since ... I moved to Virginia in 1996 and Rich and I kept in contact and still got together for a ski outing or round of golf when we had the chance and we stayed in touch by phone and email every few months or so ... This morning I thought I'd give him a call on his cell phone and when another name came up on the voice mail, I Googled his name to see if I might find a work contact number ... and found links to the artcles and memorials on the message boards ... my heart sank to my stomach ... I am putting together a memorial website in the memory of Rich .. if any of his friends here would like to have photos or comments posted on the site, will be glad to include. The website is Richard Mork - A Friend Remembered I, like many of you here have truly lost a dear friend. Rest in peace, Rich ... I will miss you! |
