After spending the weekend away at a fello divers Memorial Service and returning with an already heavy heart to find this news it is just devastating I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to his Family and Friends.

Like so many others, our thoughts go to Sven, his wife and his family. Also to those involved on the trip.

If a recovery dive is possible/attempted; be safe.

Although I only knew him through his posts here, I always paid attention when I saw his avatar next to a message. I will miss him.

Only found out about this with the news item about the search for the body.

What a shame for us all not to have the pleasure of his company and support anymore - and my condolences to his family and friends for the loss.

When I first joined Rebreather World, Sven was very helpful when I had problems setting up my Blog. I am saddened that we will never have the chance to dive together or to meet in person. Rest in peace.

I've just found out about this and I'm heart broken. Sven was a good mate to me when I moved out to Sydney and I enjoyed diving with him. My heart goes out to his wife and his buddies who tried so hard to save him- we all know how he looked forward to this particular dive in the past couple of months.
