Thanks for the feed back. I'm living in Johannesburg in South Africa. being the biggest city I have access to any type of suplier within a 50km radius from me. Working with composites has been a passion of mine since I was little. Made a fibreglass fairing for my motorbike when I was only 15. It is fairly simple to make the mould. get hold of one of your local composite material supliers, they will guide you through the use of teh components. we have a local suplier called AMT Composites and they have a division specializing for the hobiest. They have every now and again a 2 day coarse on the use of techniques and materials. Good luck, hope you have a big budget for this phase of your hobby..hey hey.
Hi Rian, Read thread about AV1 computer with interest. Amazed with your results of home building and carbon fibre work. Certainly like to learn more about carbon fibre work as I want a cover for my Submatix breather. I am one of six Submatix users based in Perth Western Australia. We have a lot of experience with Submatix and two of us have had factory training. If we can assist please let us know. Where abouts in South Africa are you based? Geoff
