Hi Iain I'm looking to buy a small compressor, either new or refurbished by somebody that knows what they're doing. My requirement is to keep a small (60l currently but could expand a little) air bank topped-up for blending mix for CCR and driving a mini Haskel. I would prefer something that can use a 13A domestic supply. Suggestions so far have been a Coltri MCH6, which I've rejected or a Bauer PE100, which would be OK. I understand you supply Rix compressors and wonder if you could recommend/supply something in the similar price ballpark to the Bauer. I'm mechanically literate and was a time-served fitter in a former life so maintenance/servicing would not faze me. I'm sure I haven't asked anywhere near enough questions but would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Best regards Nick Butcher
I found you in the rebreather world archives I am looking for a Rix Sweet air manual If you steal have that could you send that to me would greatly aprashate it Harvey Sisco hsisco9630@aol.com
Iain, Would you please advise the normal current draw for a 230v 50 Hz Rix Microboost. What effect does inc/decreasing the inlet pressure have on the current draw for a given outlet pressure? Many thanks Mike
Hi Misty Sorry for the delay in reply I don't used this forum very often. Regarding you chamber I have never heard of a Pearle chamber I doubt very much if this is a manufacturer Most fabricators including ourselves make for others, it is the clients name that is used. However if you have a picture of the chamber I am pretty sure we could identify. My email is iain@hsm-engineering.demon.co.uk
Hi, My name is Misty. I'm a rebreather diver trained in Thailand, American by birth and married to a Scotsman. I was told to drop you a PM in my mission to help a hyperbaric doctor get his hands on a manual for an old Pearle monoplace hyberbaric chamber. Do you know anyone that might have an idea even where to start? Just tell me what I have to do. Please. There are people out there that could be benefiting from this thing right now. We have doctors on hand qualified to run it. I'm begging all my friends in the medical and in the dive community to shake down any contacts they might have. Thank you for your time, -M
