seacure mouthpiece?

Has anyone tried the seacure mouth piece on the meg? If so what size did you use and have you had any problems with leakage?

size does not really matter

, it is how you heat it. I had no problems with leakage on any of my DSVs or BOvs.

It's the bigger one with the higher flow.... It works great - Love it!

seacure highflow II will fit nicely....

I use a number II high flow. But that being said i do believe heating any size correctly will result in an okay fit. I have found that the sea cure is hard and DOES NOT make a great seal on the hard DSV plastic, and will allow a little water ingress. This is not the end of the world with OTS but can be a problem with some back mounted counterlungs on units with small water traps. So i put a bead of silicon sealant down before attaching the sea cure. Here is my process:

heat in boiling water the mouth end and fit to your mouth with your hood on
let cool
use hot tap water (not boiling water!!) and heat the end that will fit on the DSV
now "gently force" in on the DSV and let it cool
now the sea cure will hold that new shape, remove it and dry the DSV and Sea cure
now add the bead of silicon sealant to the DSV, just behind the outer lip
now put the sea cure on and twist/smoosh the sealant around
attach zip tie and cut
let dry for as long as you can, usually over night
