New Meg So, my Meg has been ordered, and this is what I selected as options: Meg Complete Cordura CL's 20 CF Steel bottles Golem BOV Agir Brokk wing Agir Brock 10 pnd backplate DIV Gsnaps VR3 Timix/heliox CC enabled computer I will have my unit the beginninig of April. I am being trained by Andrew Driver of Mad Dog Expeditions in NYC Andrew's advice and his recommendations are what caused me to arrive at this selection of equipment. His reputation precedes him, and I am very excited to be training under him. Any thoughts on the above equipment?

I changed to metal sub which proved to be far better, but hay this is just my opinion.

Re: New Meg You have made almost the same choices that I made last July, I only differed on the backplate and wing. I used the Diverite ssplate and recwing that I already owned. You will find it just fine and will have no regret on your expenditure. Your training will be topnotch and your choice of gear will prove to be comfortable and and asset. The only addition that I later made, I set up a manifold and quick connect system for the BOV to allow bail out gas to be plugged in. I am of course bias but congradulation on your choices and you will enjoy!!!! ![]()

Re: New Meg Thanks guys, I appreciate your advice on the mounting systems. I think I am going to order the Metalsubs in case I have problems with the Gsnaps. I ordered the Golem BOV from Jared, as far as I know, Leon does not sell his own model. I liked the incorporated design of the Golem over the competitions. Having a 2nd stage hanging off of a BOV did not look clean to me. As soon as I actually find out how much this thing costs, I'll let you all know: ISC has changed their prices for 2007, but has not posted them yet, so I kind of ordered it blind. I sure hope it's not a 2K increase! Leon may even give it to me at the 06 prices too, who knows! Does anyone have any advice regarding small accesories that I may find useful? I did go with the deluxe o ring kit, spare hoses, DIV, etc. I am particularly interested in a method of attaching my VR3 to my handset,, but without messing with the screws on the handsets. Any ideas? Thanks!
