Just get a Meg and all your problems will be solved.
It's not really a problem as I have done dives on my original Inspiration longer than the manufacturer recommendations. A radial scrubber would just be another tool in the tool box. I've put a lot of thought into the possibility of a new Rebreather. I've come to the conclusion that the equipment that I use is just a tool for me to reach my personal dive objectives and right now I really do not see any advantages other than having a sexier piece of equipment. I think my money would be better spent on actually diving (cave/wreck), and when my RB either a) no longer meets my needs or b) beat up to much, I'll then be on the hunt for a new unit.

Jakub
This is probally a stupid question, but can't a radial scubber with less than 7.5 lb constructed, The 5.5 last me 6 hr. I never dive is water less than 70 and long or deep dives include a scooter. I would like a radial but smaller for the deeped stuff.

Re: meg scrubbers

We will be making a smaller scrubber to fit the MiniMeg. It could be used in a standard Meg with proper spacer.

We have started design of the radial scrubber for the Inspiration.

Re: meg scrubbers

The only problem I can see with a smaller scrubber in the can is the buoyancy issue - take 2lbs of mass out of the can but don't change the size and you wind up with 2lbs more lead being required.

Hi Mate,

How are you getting on with the Golem scrubber? With the GBP/USD exchange rate I am thinking it might be worth it. Don't see myself doing insanely long dives on it - rather a sucession of shorter dives whilst travelling - can take a full scrubber when travelling. Maybe its just because I love wasting money - wouldn't be the first time I've blown a load on a scrubber!

Having been to Ukraine, I understand it isn't difficult...
