(I'm about to place an order for my Meg, thinking about travel ideas already) Take a basic backpack, put a pair of holes in it on 11 inch centers. use your backplate/harness, and this backpack together as carryon luggage, with your meg bolted to the backplage.. Easier to hide the extra weight =) Whatcha think? Take care, Scott |

I would think having them in a backpack wouldn't be a good idea.

I am just pouting becuase the backplate I intend to use wont fit in the pelican travel case with the Meg.. its 12 inches wide and 16 inches long.. And I have little faith in airlines baggage handling.. They can loose my clothes if they want.. but my dive gear stays with me =) I may just try to work up a system to turn my backplate into a backpack.. and put the whole Meg in a Pelican 1510... |

| Me and Gadget have been working on this idea for a good few months now. Gadget has made several succesful trips with the prototype to Europe and USA. I need to make a few minor tweaks to make it work using all different types of harnessess. People that have seen the prototype so far, have been really impressed, and Leon Scamahorn has seen it too. Once the final version is ready, I need to see if it will be financially viable to produce this commercially. By this I mean a price that you guys and girlies would be willing to pay. But I will only do this with agreement from ISC. If it goes into production, Pictures will be posted. Cheers Julie
