| Cylinder Mounting Option Has anyone tried the Metalsub mounts for their cylinders? They look pretty sleek and solid, although I'd like to hear if anyone has any first hand experience. http://www.metalsub.nl/eng/prod_4_1.asp Offgas |

I have a Metalsub light where they came with the canister. Nicely build, easy to put on and take off. I don't think that strength would be an issue, unless you try to mount 15L~100cf cylinders with them.Welkom bij Metalsub Offgas They will create 1,5cm ~½ inch of distance between the rebreather and cylinder body, for that I ended up finding alternative solutions. But for cylinder mounting on a Meg, it should work just fine. |

Will any other vendor that carries these be attending DEMA? Side questions: Is there a name for the rubber that encapsulates the bottom of those hose clamps? If not, is there a special name for the hose clamps with this rubber? I've seen these special hose clamps used elsewhere but am having problems locating them for sale. Cheers, Richard

I've seen that stuff at Reefscuba. However, it's not exactly the same and I wasn't sure about how well it would curve and ultimately look. I'm a bit of a neat freak. I guess I could have just bought some to see, huh? lol What the heck, a few bucks is nothing in this game. ![]()
