| InnerSpace Customer Service Going eCCR in months. The Meg looks great on paper but I keep hearing people say that InnerSpace's customer service is severely lacking. Please give me your input. Thanks Jeff

| Re: InnerSpace Customer Service The experiences that Heather and I have had with them have been great. The delivered both Megs on time, and as promised. My unit has not had to go back to the factory for anything--but Heather's head went back for a software upgrade. The turn around time was very rapid and she at it back in less than two weeks. Subsequently she had a problem with one of the hand sets (after the upgrade) and again, ISC turned it around pronto. In both cases we paid for freight and nothing more. I too have heard stories about long delays, etc. But that's not bee part of our experience. Brian

| Re: InnerSpace Customer Service I've heard the same thing but I can only speak from my personal experience. When I had (minor) trouble with my unit Leon was very responsive to my needs. I spoke with him personally on several occassions and when I could not resolve the issue myself he had me ship the unit to him and it was on its way back to me within 24 hrs. of his receipt. You can't ask for more than that! I think the key is to ask what they can do and when they can do it before you go shipping stuff back to them. Obviously, if they are doing a show in Europe when you return your unit you will have to wait. The Meg has been a trouble free unit and the design lends itself to easy owner maintenance. My guess is that the majority of complaints come from people who either had unrealistic expectations or did not clearly state what they wanted and when they wanted it. That said, you have to realize that you are not buying a mass produced unit supported by a factory with hundreds of workers but from a small company which I'd imagine, individually builds the units as they receive the orders. Having had friends who purchased units from other (larger) companies and heard (verifiable) horror stories about customer service, I would not hesitate to purchase another Meg. Hope this helps with your decision and good luck, whatever you decide. Going eCCR in months. | Re: InnerSpace Customer Service I have had nothing but good service from ISC. Leon is a top notch instructor and builds a very solid rebreather. I have only put 40hrs on my meg so far but they have all been trouble free (except I have killed 1 set of bateries). MY favorite charter operator commented that he has never seen me go so many consecutive dives with out a failure on either of my previous rebreathers, I dive with him a lot.

| Re: InnerSpace Customer Service As Brian said, I've had nothing but great service from ISC. In fact, while we were on vacation in North Carolina in August, I had a small problem with the unit. I called ISC and spent about half an hour on the phone with Steve and Leon talking through it. I followed thier instructions and resolved the problem. About 3 hours later I received a call from Leon- he was just following up to make sure everything worked out. Heather
