| Re: Radial Scrubber for Meg Official test results are forthcoming. For now you will have to progressively test duration, as CO2 production can vary greatly in each idividual. This does not sound as much of a sales pitch to me .As a potential costumer, I don't feel the need to be a guinea pig. Maybe I'm over reacting, I have so far close to no experience with rebreathers other than two trial runs, I'm a cyber rebreather diver. How would one test duration safely? I'm not trolling, I just want to understand your position. Thanks

I'd rather you not buy it, if you are not comfortable with it. .As a potential costumer, I don't feel the need to be a guinea pig. I'm not trolling, I just want to understand your position. Thanks Every rebreather diver is essentially a guinea pig. Consumer CCRs are a fairly young industry and there is precious little independent testing data available for any unit. Until the test results from independent testing agency are available for our scrubber, all I can tell you is what duration I or other test divers dove it for. But that would not be indicative of how long it would last for you, because each person produces different amount of CO2 under same load. Even same person will produce different amount of CO2 on different days. The way I determine duration of any scrubber, is that I take it on progressively longer/deeper dives. I know how hypercapnia manifests in me (couch diving is perfect first step for that). I carry plenty of bailout and practice procedures for SCR and OC bailout. Good BOV is of great value for quick sanity breaths when working hard (here is your sales pitch ). I've had several hypercapnia incidents (not on this scrubber) and they are manageable if addressed early. Hypercapnia is a serious condition in diving, but if you are aware of your body and your environment and practice your bailout procedures you should be able to handle it. You can not eliminate risk in diving, just manage it. |

| Re: Radial Scrubber for Meg Looks nice. It looks like it easier to pack than the different radial caister I played with (Cis-Lunar, etc) Yes it is much easier to pack than Cis can. You just cover the center column and pour around it. tap down and pour..Cheers |

Your transparency is appreciated.Quote: I know how hypercapnia manifests in me (couch diving is perfect first step for that). I would definately see myself trying this out in my living room first. When do you expect the test results to be out?
