| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Argon & Can Light Mounting I have noticed that with slinging a bailout, i find that I have to put both my 6cuft argon tank on my right side as well as cramming my can light next to it. What do other people do here? Isnt it cramped to have the argon mounted on the side of the bailout? cant it be tangled in moving bottles around? I mount the 6cuft bottle to my SS backplate via two Halcyon velcro straps. Thoughts? ![]() |

You need to make sure that the valve doesn't snag the d-ring on your hip, but if it does then adjust it up or down.![]() Janos

| Re: Argon & Can Light Mounting I put it on the right because the leftside gets fairly crowded with my sling bottle and other offboard gasses. I'm not an expert on this, and I'm sure there are people on the boards who carry far more bottles than I do, but I've dived with a 6cuft on the RHS [EDIT I mean LHS] and two Ali 80's on the LHS and haven't found it to be a problem at all. The argon bottle sits towards my back so doesn't interfer with the hip d-rig at all.It might be worth a try. It might work, or it might not. Janos

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Argon & Can Light Mounting thats how my setup is now... i guess my question is where does the can light go when the argon bottle is on that side? i use my right hand for holding the light, but it is just too damn crowded with both the bottle and the can over there. |

Sloblocks. I mistyped.I have the 6cuft, and the two stages on the LHS. Only the light cannister is on the RHS.

| EBT called me stroppy! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Argon & Can Light Mounting I use the Dive Rite argon inflation bottle mounting kit on the RHS and a slimline canister on the LHS (I like the light on the left hand when scootering). Neither of these get in the way when sidemounting the bailouts at all, even if I have an AL80 on each side.

| Re: Argon & Can Light Mounting I also put the argon on the left with the valve handle facing back to avoid the D-ring. FWIW I've had 2-3 bottles on the left also, with no interference from the argon bottle. My light canister is on the right.
