This is the exact process that brought us the Kiss, I would recommend that this be nominated as a innovations on behalf of a homebuilt rebreather and bestow the name that reminds us that it can be done. "The Gordon Smith award" Perhaps?

Hi EBT-The gap between the inside of the Meg’s can and the Stainless shell is nominally .35”. The gap w/ the stock axial is .25”. I used the stock axial’s diameter of 6.0” as my starting point for sizing the top & bottom. The shell is set back another .10” from that. Best, Ken |
