| Mmmm Rubber!! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Meg wait for CE or not? I am doing my course shortly and if all goes well i will want a shiny new toy (Meg) The only question is do i wait for the unit to conform to CE? How much more expensive will it be? Will this help the re sale if i wish to sell? One more question is the unit with the APECs system one handset or two? Thanks in advance Mike |

| Despotic Overlord ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | APECS is 2 handsets and it it as optional extra for the HUD - I would strongly advise you to get it! It is standard with the shearwater. Strictly speaking to be able to resell the unit at all you need CE approval. although in reality I know of several KISS units that have been sold second hand. I would not have thought that it would make too much difference to resale value. I would have thought it would more be a timing issue - how long do you wish to wait for your unit - if your waiting for CE then you won't get it in time for summer! Stuart |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Place your name on the list to order one, I order mine without ever seeing one. I looked at who was diving them and had a YBOD while I waited for the MEG. I am very very happy with it and have no regrets. As for CE, shouldn't make any big deal with the unit now or later. APEC's will have 2 hand sets, one running the solenoid valve, the second running the HUD. Each with its own batteries. Paul |
