Re: The COPIS (Ko-pes) Megalodon

Nice writeup Ron as usual
One quick thought about the copis is I find this is a case where minimal loop volume is not the best way to go. The loop seems to require less attention when there is a bit more gas in it. I had to add 5lbs to make that happen.

Nice Job Ron,

I like the design and the price seems right. Glad to see someone take the KISS design a step further and think this will be a popular unit.

Hi Dave i guess to each his own. i still find optimal (aka min loop) loop volume the best. it makes keeping the PO2 easier for me. maybe a difference in o2 metabolic rates!

Hey all , thanks for the kind words, glad you like the write up.

Dave, did you get your brackets and hoses yet? Im jonesing for a trip north, I missed out on the Gov dive and Randy really rubbed it in with a phone call braggin on the conditions. Think i need a Nanaimo diving and Sandy's peirogies fix.
When are you, Scott and Rob doing the wreck?
Get the shirts for me and Leon yet?

Very interesting article, Ron. Thanks.

Is one able to buy the head alone without further training if one is already certified on the Meg ?
