![]() ![]() | I'm using Gsnaps on my Meg and they're working fine. In my case, they came with my (secondhand) YBOD and have plates welded to the inside to distribute the weight over a larger area - unmodified snaps would probably work better (Jason, do you want to do a swap??). I've also got a set of the Tigermount brackets but haven't used them, Thanks, Robert |

| Johnny The Hatch ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Well the standard connection is the one that you have to unscrew the bottle each time in order to get the bottles of. The reason i got the G-Snaps was just to get away from this, to be able to get the bottles of by just clicking on a button. But THe way the casing is on the KISS i was not able to do this, and the bottles were difficult to connect and i was cutting my hands all the time... You will be able to see the connections when i am done writing about the KISS. Stuart, i am almost ready, should be done with the text on monday /Jonny |

I will be quite interested in your pictures when you are done with your article. It would be dull if we all liked the same stuff You will be able to see the connections when i am done writing about the KISS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: G Snaps on the Meg Has any body tried using these gsnaps on the Prism? Mounting one directly to the plate and the other on the bottle. If the release is down towards the curve of the tank, it should make it easy to get at. Shouldn't it? Dave |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: G Snaps on the Meg Just one idea, if you want to keep the SS off the alu body, why not use a snoopyloop underneath? THey do the job nicely and I've used them on other people's stages to protect paintwork before. I'm just not a big fan of nets on anything, could get caught on things, and makes you less smooth for ferreting out of really really small holes! Does look much narrower than most other units I think, I've still got the G-snaps on my KISS and have had no problems really. The clean look and back of the unit is worth the trade over having cam buckles sticking out the back/sides. Just my 2c. Digs. |
