Seems like a reasonable way to go about things to me. I was using gsnaps to mount my tanks on the KISS initially per a recommendation from TechBlue and they worked perfectly. The only thing I didn't really like about them was depressing the lever that disengages the snap as it always seemed to be difficult to get to for me.

While I love the massive look of the Tigermount, the G-snaps look a bit more streamlined, which is good. Do you have a shot of your rig from the back with both tanks mounted?

not sure about oxycheck's G-Snaps but the portland Oceaneering (http://www.portlandoceaneering.com/) ones have been redesgined with a side release

Actually they have several models. The originals are still available from Portland (Just got them about a week ago).
