| New CCR Wing on the Market All, There's a new CCR Wing on the market as of today. I'm very pleased and privileged to be one of the first owners. I can't wait to get it wet this weekend. This would be the wing that Barney hinted about a few days ago, and huge thanks are due to both he and the entire Halcyon development team. While initial development was done with a Meg, the wing has been used successfully on KISS, and other rebreathers. For those still in the market for 'the perfect rebreather wing' this one will be worth considering. Brian

| Re: New CCR Wing on the Market Wow!! Humm........ I picked up the Halcyon 40 for my meg. Have to investigate into this one. Like the slot idea and the inflator location. Just wondering about the width of the bottom of the wing. Seems quite wide. Looking forward to your report Brian after using it this weekend.

I just pulled a measuring tape across the wing at it's widest point (bottom) and it's roughly 30" wide. I don't know how that compares to other wings. I can't really say much more that's worthwhile at this point since I haven't had the thing wet yet. Perhaps I can talk Heather into running over to Jackson tonight...... Anyway, I wasn't involved at all in the field tests--I just happened to be fortunate enough to get one of the very first units. (Thanks Barney!! )Brian

I hated it with the Meg- it was HUGE and hard to dump. I ended up "making do" with my 36# single tank wing until I was able to get hold of the CCR wing. With this new wing, you can perform the Ford Flow!!!

I am looking forward to Brian's report. If yes, then I'll be ordering one for sure.

Actually it will be a report from Heather & I both since there were two of the new wings in the UPS box that arrived today--one for each of us. ![]() Brian
