| Cooperhoses on Meg Always thinking about how to pimp my gear Anyone tried Cooper-hoses on a Megalodon?....A buddy has bought them for his KISS and they are beautiful... I see a few problems with ordering them though -The Meg use different size on the two hoseparts (above and below t-piece) -The hose has to be cut or ordered custom sizes..(never seen this hose on OTS-CL type rebreather) Any ideas on this subject? Rodge

What do you think? Hi /Rodge The spring inside is, I guess, to avoid the hoses to be crushed. So it's more a protection on land when handling the rebreather. Right? The fact that they are tougher should make them more resistant to puncture and sun. Unfortunately these hoses don't seem to be available on the right size for the Meg. So why not saving money and hassle and simply buy some neoprene protection for your existing hoses? Cheers

| Re: Cooperhoses on Meg Yep,Thought about that.....But I think that the hoses get a lot of stress where they "bend down" in to the head and the spring would support the hose so you dont get a "knee" on your hose... When get up from my last dive of the day I always disconnect the hoses at the head to prevent the stress while transporting the unit /Rodge
