Tried a Meg

Hi Group,

I have set my training date for Oct 7, but had the privilege of doing an intro dive with Matt from protec. Here are a couple of pics. I must admit it is a strange sensation, but something I am looking forward to.

I posted them in the gallery I am tring to attatch them to this thread, but can't figure out sorry

I will go with Black, and new electronics. If Radail Scrubber is available I will probably order that too! Have not deceided on which back plate yet, still looking into options.

Martin

BTW Got the skinny on Movie Meg from Matt himself. 2" shorter than standered Meg, and excepts extendair cartridge or custom container to hold soda material, divers choice. Only downside will not be able to accept the Radail scrubber. When production starts, Matt will ask Leon to custom make one for his kit.

I would love a spell check for the posts If spelling counted in diving I would be playing golf

Adding pictures in posts

Copy and paste the BB Image Code (below your picture in the gallery) wherever in your post you want the picture to be.

If it's a large image (wider than the actual window the post usually is) it will extend the window and we'll have to scroll sideways to read every line which can be annoying.

Sorry if this has been covered before but what are prices like for a Meg, with options as a YBOD classic ? Does it have depth limitations? It does look a good unit, especially with the Army green canister as opposed to the YBOD yellow

Hi Pierre,

Prices start from $7000 with out built in deco electronics and go up to about $10000 fully loaded with latest electronics, ADV, mixed gas kit, stop valve etc...

Not sure about Depth limitation I know Tom Mount has taken his to 150 feet...

Was nice to have you down here in Mexico doing some cave and rebreather diving, not to mention meet you. As well thanks for mentioning this site to us, it is nice forum and I am sure I will be around here often.

I am sure we will see you next time you are down this way.
