| RBW Writer ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Loop temperature ranges A few dives after my training I'm now more relaxed to browse through the display's menus during bottom time and I'm trying to understand the loop temperature's variation into the dive. Today, 10' after I entered the water I had water temp: 16C loop temp: 26C 50 minutes later I had water temp 15,9C loop temp 21C What values do you usually get in your dives? What's the maximum variation you have achieved in a dive? Thanks Sue |

| Re: Loop temperature ranges Looks like you're not getting much traction. For me I tend to be about 7 degrees F above water temperature in the 48-50 deg F water I normally dive. Good luck! |

| Re: Loop temperature ranges Hi; I dive in the South China Sea in balmy 26-28 degC conditions. My loop temp usually remains 1-2 degC above ambient. |

Hi Sue,Thanks Sue Lots of factors at play that will effect the loop temp such as; depth, water temp, work rate, tidal volume, ADV or O2 being added etc On a dive deeper than 80m with a reasonable current, I can get a difference of 10 deg C. I have had the loop read cooler than the water when doing skills (open loop)
