I think I'll get the can painted and lacquered yellow. The rest will be black. It'll be the only one out there that looks like a bumblebee. ![]() |

Add custom logo to can I'll add a pair of skunk stripes to my PRISM and you can join me for burnouts at DEMA. ![]() "If you can't Dodge it, RAM it !"

However, after paying for all these high tech. toys I thought I'd spring for something more reasonable...like the Mumbai special: |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay, I've been blown out twice now (NE USA). So here I am dry-diving. In the meantime as I eat some crisps I ponder the head of the Meg ... is there any real difference between an acetal and metal head? I can see corrosion of AL being a slight issue/non-issue? Has that happened to anyone in the distant past? What's that moisture absorbing material? Cellulose sponge like the Cis? Bored out of my skull. Cheers. Ken |

Since an AL head would be hard-coated the same as the can, corrosion shouldn't be much of a problem. The biggest advantage of the acetal head is that it is easily machined. the biggest disadvantage is that it _may be_ slightly less durable. The moisture pads are made from the same material as PackTowels - the light-weight, highly absorbant camping towels. it absorbs 8x it's weight in water while being thin and light. It is much more efficient than cellulose sponge material, is easy to wash/wring out and dries very quickly. T |

I'm hoping it settles down tomorrow so that we can get wet here in NE! As per head durability I wonder if anyone has ever hit an obstruction during penetration. On a picky note I see a mini-shroud as a useful accessory for head and hose protection, or is this a non-issue since the Meg. profile doesn't seem as large as a Insp. or certainly as out there as the megacephalic Optima.
