| What tanks in the tropics? Hi all Meg divers out there For the moment I live and dive in Sweden but in a near future I will be moving back to Thailand. I dived my KISS with steels in Thailand before but found them to heavy...but most Meg divers I see here seams to use Steel no matter where they dive.. My question is this.. Should I keep my steel tanks even when diving in the tropics or sell them here and gey Alu-tanks when I get down there? How do you do when diving in wetsuit? Cheers Rodge

| PROTEC MEXICO ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: What tanks in the tropics? yo I live in mexico, don't know if you count that as tropics. We have a wide range of ccr tanks here, alm and steel, and they all hold up quite well. I do dive steel tanks on my Meg but have alm on my Optima, plus some extra pairs. From my point of view its the same. Need to rinse a little once in a while and they'll be fine ... Matt |
