| XLVI WC! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | UK - Meg Ordering/ Delivering Right then, I've bitten the bullet and am seriously considering a Meg, the ongoing saga of my Vision still keeps going round in circles and I have had to take stock of my diving for the year. Basically, at present I have no unit and I have 2 options:
Either way if something doesn't happen soon, my diving season is screwed ![]() So I have thought long and hard and have decided that the Meg would be the best option for me, personally. So what I would like to ask from you guys and gals is for a little help with the following?
Sorry, if any of these questions may have been asked a million times before. But I'm being extremely cautious as I don't want to get bitten again. AP have seriously failed in the customer service department. Their customer shouldn't have to beg for some help. I know that Leon and Co are not the same, that everyone is different, but I just don't want it to go skywards again ![]() Cheers in advance! Lou x

If you want slightly smaller / lilghter get leon to due you a cave meg can which will take standard scrubber.

| Re: UK - Meg Ordering/ Delivering Just a thought - is there any way you could get out there - you could hook up with Dave (wedivebc) and Leon and do your course together on vancouver island!

That's true in the US as well.I rammed over $600,000 worth of product down a supplier's throat once when I ran my company over exactly this sort of issue - failure to meet formal specifications and thus unfit for purpose sold..... They squawked a LOT but they DID eat it.

| Re: UK - Meg Ordering/ Delivering Lou; What about making AP lend you a new set of the original electronics till they get the new stuff straight? However, I like the law that says they must give you the money back. Over here in Texas we call it the ram it feature. Good luck. Bill |

Nick, I'm reluctant with the Trimix upgrade as well - nothing to substantiate any issues but there's part of me that isn't sure. To be honest it is more now of a case of loosing faith with AP in general. Anything that has been moved forward is because we have pushed. We had to almost beg for the loan of the Classics for my holiday, which we were told we would be able to keep until the fix was out, now they have gone back on the decision and have requested and have received back the loans because they need it for a trydive! Nothing has been forthcoming. It is the lack of customer service that has hit the final nail in the coffin for me. ![]() I am awaiting a reply from Martin to a letter I sent/email I sent at the beginning of last week. I so far have had an email back saying I will receive a reply on Monday next week. Not once have I been offered an apology. Not once has anyone offered a solution. I've had to cancel a number of dives because of the issuses. I have lost 7 months of diving out of 9 months I have had the unit. For the £5.5k I paid, so far I have dived only about £800's worth. It is pathetic, heartbreaking and fustrating to see £5.5k's worth of kit sat in the garage not being able to be used because of the settings issues and the timing. It is wrong that a system designed to be a primary setup continues to fail. Apparently they are still testing the new version, how long will this go on? This is something that should of been done before it was released! My genuine questions regarding the Meg are because I can no longer trust AP or their Customer Service, which was a main issue in my decision to go down the Inspo route.
