| Problem with cables in batterybox on Meg Is it me or what? I opened my battery boxes today for the first time....very nice btw in there you have battery and cables to the handunits... I noticed that the cables looked different in the secondary box from the primary....on one of the cables from the battery in the secondary there was a black thing,a resistor or something simular....did not think much of it...put things back together and now the secondary display wont come back to life.. I did nothing but take out the battery and put it back in.....I have 6,7volts so that should not be it...I took out my voltmeter to make sure the cables were not broken inside the coating but everything looks fine......but i found out that the black "thing" wont let current through...well I dont get a signal when I try to ring it with the voltmeter....is it broken, can it break, how could it brake when I genly pulled the battery out, should it let current through, why is there not one in the primary battery box? I would be really happy with any advice or comments on this matter Best regards Rodge |

| Re: Problem with cables in batterybox on Meg The black thing is a reed switch. so unless you put a magnet to it, no current will flow. Make sure you put it in the correct way.

On 31 January you wrote: Quote: (Originally Posted by rogeringebo) I will order a Meg any day now And now today (only two weeks later) you wrote:![]() ![]() ![]() Quote: (Originally Posted by regeringebo) I opened my battery boxes today for the first time....very nice btw How'd you do that? I ordered a Meg on 30 January and I'm climbing the walls until it arrives in April, whereas you managed to lay hands on one in only two weeks. Clearly you have some sort of inside connection that I didn't know about. ![]() So, how's the new toy? Brian

(har kört lite soffdyk så nu är det dags för poolen till veckan... )
