Thanks for the write-up Stuart. I can only hope that the black canister in your line-up is mine...

ISC Cave Meg

Stop the Madness!

Man, I drooled through the whole dang report.

I like the purple canister, nice touch and it reflects the diver and her tastes.

However, I am a guy and I like the Olive Green Canister and it would be cool if it matched the backplate! I like the Mark Meadows plate- but I can see needing a lot of weight if you were diving dry a lot.

Is there any differences for the MEG and cave diving?

I noticed the cap said- “ISC Cave Meg.”

Great report.

Regards, Andrew

thanks Andrew,

i believe the Cave Meg is AKA the Movie meg - which was a special production run done for the film the Cave - it has a smaller Can and uses extend air cartridges - which were needed to rapid changes tied in with the filming i believe.

I really like my alu backplate matching the unit - olive green - yummy.

Thats my travel rig and it wieghs next to nothing, in the UK though i need it with more weight due to the dry suit and so I dive it with a Stainless Steel Backplate - one of these bad boys

OK, its a movie prop and NOT a cave diving unit!
Well, that just bursts my bubble.

Extend Air Cartridges- PUKE

Thanks man...

Congrats on the training!
