Apecs eletronics down 150 meters

Hi all,

Anyone have experience on the Apecs eletronics down 150 meters, with or without oil filled.

Leon says there is no need to oil fill anything down to 150m go past that and you should look at filling them. The problem then is that the oil degrades the displays with time and will cost you $$ to replace them.

CV lost all his electronics at 150m due to pressure on the

Came back on again once we started to ascend above 150m

battery compartment in the head

Thanks for sharring.

The problem with Cedric was only on the battery compartment ? And the hand displays, are Ok under 150m without oil filed ?

I apologize for my OT question, Bruno. Is it a problem with HH Meg or Shearwater Meg to go beyond 150 meters?

For those who read French 200m avec un Megalodon

Bernard with his Megalodon 2.5 dive up to 200m (with before several dives between 150 and 200m) without modification, only a radial Golem.
Not filling displays

It's commonly released because that's what it's rated to........Go further than 150M and you have to fill the handsets and yes the battery boxes but be prepared to replace the electronics in both afterwards.....

My second-hand Meg handsets are oil-filled (just happened to be the way they came). In the three and a half years I've had them I've only had to replace one handset and that was for different reasons.
