With a custom mount you might be able to get the cans a little closer. Also, some spherical tanks from Colin could be mounted below the cans rather than the sidemounted ones ... ![]() I like the rear counterlungs with manual ad valves still accessible. Hard to see in the pics, where is the BC bladder?

Hard to see in the pics, where is the BC bladder? Those rear counterlungs are the BC Bladder. Sheeeesh how much redundancy do you want. Pete Mesley in NZ dives his Inspo with both lungs in about that position. He can reach both Manual add's and it keeps the chest free for other stuff. Hey Dave Young is Pete still diving his unit this way.? |

Shame about the model though, I can't believe you had to import CD all the way over from Adelaide to model it, are there no babes that want into your rig for a photo session? Cheers Chriso

Have another look at that piccy Chriso, I think you must be the ONLY person in the world to have ever confused me at 5'7" with Steve at 6'8"... Multi Meg looks the goods, what a sweet Rig you have made. Shame about the model though, I can't believe you had to import CD all the way over from Adelaide to model it, are there no babes that want into your rig for a photo session? As you can see from the attached picture (if it worked!), it looks a helluva lot bigger on me... You can also see how they had it set up for Craig's dive on sat, with the unit completely split down the center. On consultation after the first dive, (hey, they even listened to me!!! ) they swapped the lungs over, so you weren't pulling the loops from the side. Having both loops over the neck stopped the backup loop from floating away, and also apparently made it a lot more comfortable. (it certainly looked a lot easier / less confuzzing on the second dive!)The unit looks sweet in the water. Craig did the first dive, then Steve took it on the second dive (after they swapped the lungs over). Must say from behind, it looks like a truck, but from the front, it didn't look all that cluttered / any bigger than a large twinset. Scariest part of the diving was Steve's wetsuit. I have a piccy of that, but I'm keeping it for blackmail purposes! Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me take it for a dive... I'm currently researching a few different band options for Steve to bring the two cans closer together. The bands on the unit held the two cans just over 2" apart, Steve wants a set of bands no wider than the bolt-head... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The Multi Meg Looks like you were attacked by 'Octo' from the Spiderman movie. It looks like Steve used twin tank bands for the Multimeg. Probably the simplist? That'll give you your bolt width. Tonight's $0.02 worth. Merry Xmas
