Looks like a cool film...however I didn't recognize any of the stars. This means most of the team will die. I can guarantee that the Asian diver will die. They always die unless it's Jackie Chan. One of the female divers will die. Probably the brunette scientist. You don't kill the cute blonde. The bald, heavily bicep'd Brother will survive as well as the primary Alpha-white male. Am I close here...I think I saw this plot already with Sam L. Jackson. Deep Blue something?

Any movie with Megs and Submerge scooters has gotta be cool.

I'm sure we'll all rip the movie apart for inaccurate details, kinda like when we saw Sharon Stone planning a 2000ft heliox sat. dive on a PADI wheel, in Sphere.

Oh my GOD! That would have been so damn funny! I would have had to have EMS on scene to stop my hysterical laughter. I guess I need to rent it and do a couch dive at the same time.

Yeah the movies are always good for a laugh. If they are not destroying the reputation of sharks then they are reinventing physics. It really plays hell on Open water Instructors (OWSI.)

Well, now cave instructors are going to have some fun stupid questions that are going to be asked.

Not really, I give them a brief overview of technical diving and sign them up on either the PADI Deep/Enriched Air courses or TDI Adv Nitrox and deco courses as a first step towards tekkie heaven.
