No it does not. Wrong cystal structure. I don't know what you have in mind, but Ultrasonic would be a poor choice for a repair even if acetal was a good canidate for US welding. Joint design is key for good US welded joints.

I do have the aluminum lid right now, the crack is in the ali, not deli ..

Let me get this right....the photo you posted at the start of this thread shows a crack in an ALUMINIUM head, NOT a delrin one?
