| Copis I or Copis II identification Hi everyone, Well I just picked up my "new to me" Copis Megaladon from the post office and would like some help identifying it. The numbers stamped inside the canister are as follows: ISC04-06 R4-411 I will be taking it to a shop on Friday who are going over the whole unit, but I would like to be able to identify it in the meantime. Thanks in advance, Gene |

| Re: Copis I or Copis II identification Not necessarily true. However, if it has two battery boxes with switches on them and the display is the same as an apecs display, I think that's accurate criteria for a COPIS II. I thought if the HUD had 2 LEDs on it was COPIS 2 and if 1 led only it's a COPIS 1, but I may well be wrong! David |

| Re: Copis I or Copis II identification Copis I - 1 battery box, no HUD and a standard PO2 display. This just displays 3 sets of PO2 in big numbers, nothing else.Copis II - I thought this only had 1 battery box as it runs both the HUD and display? Anyway it has a HUD and an Apecs handset. The handset will have a menu with different settings and an ISC logo displayed on it. |

| Re: Copis I or Copis II identification No HUD is a COPIS I the COPIS II also has 1 battery box but has an on-off switch. The COPIS I shuts off by pulling the power cable. You must also recalibrate a COPIS I after each power down. Not so with COPIS II. The COPIS II is essentially the secondary part of an APECS MEG.
