| Mini-Meg plus Radial Anyone on the board use a mini-meg plus a radial scrubber (ISC or Golem) setup? If so, what are you getting for average durations (warm water) on the scrubber (before 1/3rd's) and typically what tank sizes are you using.? Curious to see if anyone uses this setup as it seems like a decent rig for travelling. Thx

| Re: Mini-Meg plus Radial A couple of years ago I did an extended pool test of my initial prototype mini radial. Pic here: http://www.rebreatherworld.com/megal...-flow-pic.html It was still going strong at 4+ hours of constant swimming w/o a hint of breakthrough. To be clear, this is NOT the scrubber in my homebuilt radial article, but a half sized one built to fit my homebuilt version of the Mini. The closure details (identical to full sized scrubber in article) are simpler than either the ISC or Gollum but since form very much follows function, the volume and gas flow should be very similar. Tanks were AL19s.

| Re: Mini-Meg plus Radial Amorak, Don't know if you have seen it but the ISC data should give you a rough duration guide at least (duration/WOB not to CE so don't know what temp or CO2 flow the test was conducted at). http://www.customrebreathers.com/AEDS%20Test.pdf Thirds (based on ISC (not CE) criteria) would then be: ISC radial ~70min Golem radial ~48min Anyone know the reference that validates the ISC test criteria? Why: Depth: 50 meters, Ventilation 40 lpm, Tidal Volume 2.0, Breathing Rate 20 BPM Anyone know the Co2 flow level & the temp they tested the units at? Regards Brad |
