Not every SK imported into Aus had Zegal first stages mine came with Apeks DS-4.

To the best of my knowledge all the SK's here have the apeks regs. Must have sorted out the supply issue.

Does the meg come without 1st stages from the factory? What about gauges?

ISC will supply first stages (Scubapros) and gauges (OMS 5'') if you wish- you'll be asked all that when you order. I opted to use Apeks US4T's and am very happy with them

I uesd the apex and love them. I thought that apex was a option on the meg

I put Apex regs on both the mini and reg size meg as I like the hose routing and have find them very dependable in all conditions. It is also a convenience matter as I have Apex regs on my KISS ccr’s and stage bottles so it is easy to keep spare parts.

Factors that weigh heavy for me is first ease of hose routing and second is availability or convenience for service parts. Apex, Scubapro and Poseidon are all dependable regs so go for what is easy.
