I wonder how well the shadow mounts work after 300 dives? I know the tiger gear is as good as new.

I saw the MetalSubs last week and agree that they are light and look pretty stable. Shadow Mounts are a bit wobbly which I was a bit wary of at first, but frankly this isn't a real concern - they're locked in nice and tight and thats the main thing. I do find I have to bang the pin to remove the cylinders if they're in for more than a couple weeks. Never had that problem with the Tiger Mounts.

Anyone been getting any bad corrosion on their Shadow mounts?

I have a set that have seen very little salt water yet there are some big chunks missing out of them already!.

That doesn't sound right. I'd get in touch with ISC... I've done feck knows how many hours in salt and have no signs of corrosion.
