| God save the Queen Current Rebreather/s: | Meg Hose Lengths Can anyone provide me with the hose lenghts on a standard Meg cannister for l the low and high pressurehose. I have purchased a used unit and need to replace hoses due to the previous owner using a bov and has mismatched hose lenghts. Looking to keep tanks in the inverted position. Thanks

| Re: Meg Hose Lengths To really get it right, you'll need to put your rig on and measure. I'm tall and found I needed longer than stock lengths on the HP hoses and the ADV hose as well. My suggestion would be to buy some cheap vinyl tubing that approximates the bend radius you anticipate for the hoses. Put on the rig and run the tubing on the route you want the hose to follow. Cut & measure the tubing and you'll have a very good idea what you'll need.

| Re: Meg Hose Lengths To really get it right, you'll need to put your rig on and measure. I second that. Best is even to dive it and have a buddy measures and take pictures. I'm 5'9" and wear the CLs pretty high on my shoulders and the stock hoses were too long. I cut them and use reusable hose fitting. I made a few adjustments in 1" increment. When comfortable with the length (very soon for sure) I'll get Miflex hoses for all of them except for the gas gauges because I use button gauges.![]() Best Philippe |
