New Used Meg Owner

Any Meg owners with the older software 2.0 still diving their units or have you upgraded software and solenoid.

Any advantages to upgrading?

you seem to be asking lots of questions with regards to the 2nd hand meg you have bought. all of these questions should be able to be answered by the meg instructor you are doing your crosss over with why not ask them first. they will be able to give you the manafactures recomendations. or aren't you going to bother doing a cross over?

there are a number of threads about the update to apecs 2.06 on this board and on the megforum. I'd recommend upgrading amongst other things the new software has a better algorithm for maintaining the setpoint. You need to upgrade the solenoid for 2.06 (if you have the old version).

I'm diving an Apecs 2.00 with the Wattsmeiser solenoid. The only drawback that I see is not having the ability to calibrate with less than 100% O2. The WM solenoid is very effective.

Not at all Mom I have calls in with 3 different Instructors. But don't worry Mom I will eat my veggies and clean my room.
