| Re: Trolling for ideas.... Yes, Tom use one cl for each meg. He said the best bailout is a second meg. He have dive the unit down to 170 m, w/o any problems. The idea with the long plenum canister and two isc radials looks good for me. Markuu, do you know if Tom has filled his handsets and battery compartments with oil? i remember Cedric's article was suggesting that. i somehow find it hard to communicate with him. you have any news from him? Hope you are ok. take care. Spyros

| Re: Trolling for ideas.... Shawn, where are you looking to do this big dive...? warm or cold water...? I'm fairly certain the 10-12 hours people are putting on radials is 70+ degree water exclusively... Not that cold midwest stuff... ![]() |

| Re: Trolling for ideas.... ah, the flexibility of the rEvo! :-) That is very sweet in deed, now your just mess'in with our heads.it touk me exact 33 seconds to build the 'mega rEvo' holds 4 radial scrubbers, each +/- 5lb! ![]() and if any one would ask: give me another 30 seconds for the 'six-fold' mega mega rEvo... only it wan't go in a small cave :-) paul all the best. |

| Re: Trolling for ideas.... I'm gearing up to do a dive here in the mid west (Missouri). Personally have put 9 hours on my radial scrubber in cold water, but I'm not willing to push it past that point. I thought about the duel meg configuration but the cost is a little higher than what I can afford this year. My thoughts on this is that the electronics package is good enough to support a very long duration but I need to match the scrubber and gas supply. I also like the idea of bailing out to OC, it a system I'm very comfortable with so I would like to stay away from the BOB. I have been chatting with leon and he knows what I'm doing and has assured me that the 8lb ISC radial is very capeable of the job. So this will be my next purchase. there have been a lot of posts on here to support that data as well. Now I'm left with trying to figure out how to mount the gas. If I use al 80' I wouldn't be any wider than an Rebreather-80...I was thinking about filling one with Dil and the other with O2. Using a bov for the DIL and slinging stages. In a perfect world the mounted gas supply would run out before the scrubber capacity did. Shawn, where are you looking to do this big dive...? warm or cold water...?
