NEW Radial & Hardwired Shearwater Pursuit on Meg.

Just received this from ISC could be interesting.

We should have the 8lb radial in production at the end of the month, the firstunits will be priced at $880 retail, once the first batch is sold the pricewill increase $980 retail.
We also should soon be announcing an OEM option that places an isolation board in the electronics which means we'll have an APECS 2.5 controller for the primary, solonoid and HUD and a Shearwater Pursuit hardwired for a secondary PO2 and full TMix computer on the loop.
Has anyone ordered with this option yet?

Padipro was just at ISC today and was shown prototypes of a lot of their new stuff. He took some pics and emailed them to me, but I'll let him post them. Specifically, the new 8lb radial which will fit a cave meg with it's standard spacer looked very cool. They are going to have it on display at BTS. Leon showed him the Apex3 controllers and talked about the new shearwater plugin as well. Lot's of options coming out, hopefully soon.

Interesting thing to note about Apex3: He was told that the handsets can be used as standalone deco computers.

That makes it an alternative to the HammerMeg and to the CopisHammer. Consummers always benefit from competition ! Good.

No pictures of the APECS 3 controller as it was just a prototype but let me say it was very impressive. It will be removeable via a wet connection for use as a stand alone dive computer or for ease of downloading information. Here are a couple pics of the new radial (not the final design), the mini radial (pre assembly) and the extended can to hold the full sized radial with the original spacer for a water trap. The radial scrubber is HEAVY DUTY. Very nice construction, is filled by removing the bottom and will have a handel on the top to lift it on the final version.

The extended can is several inches taller then the standard Meg can
and will allow you to use the original spacer with the radial scrubber.
